Hardinox

Available in titanium or stainless steel colour

Technical data

Plating deposit with titanium (peening) or stainless steel colour.
Hardness: 630 Vickers (in-between chrome and nickel).
Common thickness of the deposit: from 2 to 5 microns.
Good wear and corrosion resistance.
High chemical stability and good throwing power.
Hardinox deposit is non-magnetic and do not modify the surface finish.
Nickel release in conformity with the European directives < 0.5 micro-gr. Ni / cm2 / week.
Excellent oil-flow (spreading over) for watch parts.
Deposit ideally suited for tropical environment.

Executions

Deposit can be applied using racks, barrels or baskets.
Produce a grey (titanium colour version) or white-grey finish (palladium colour version) on substrates like brass, bronze, steel and nickel-silver.
